We stayed opposite this church and enjoyed the views every day, its a real shame, reading from the history and that gardens were taken away and an ugly car park created instead. But inside is very impressive.

Having been a pupil in the infant and junior school that was attached to this church, to revisit this year brought back many memories. Exactly as I remember if from 40 years ago. The people have changed but the building looks the same. Well work a visit.

Came across this randomly while strolling around Bath, and it seemed like one of those sights that should've been famous but I just didn't know what it was. Got some very cool pictures of it with the sun coming down creating a beautiful sky behind it. Didn't go inside but a cool sight to see if you have extra time... More

We enjoyed attending Saturday evening mass at St Johns, the local congregation were very welcoming, and the church is very pretty inside.

We went for Saturday night mass and found the parishioners to be very friendly and welcoming. The main altar is gorgeous and there are also side altars. So glad we went.

Near the train station this beauty towers into the sky ( not sure it's higher than the abbey though ) A wonder of times gone by . Love a good church !

Nice church. Often open to visitors, but not always clear when the doors are closed. Free access. Very welcoming to tourists and foreign inhabitants of Bath.

Thank Anja V
