As a Freemason, I am very interested in seeing this place, but unfortunately it never seems to be open. Over 7 years I have not been able to get inside for various reasons. Come on Bath, one of your great sites, make it more accessible.

We discovered this by chance and were delighted with the tour. The guide was helpful and informative and covered the whole range of uses of the building, from a theatre to a church and on to a Masonic Hall. Well worth a visit.

This Museum can only be seen with a guide – our guide was just a fountain of knowledge and was amazing. He told the history of the place when it was the Theatre Royal in Bath. There isn’t much evidence of its theatrical past now...More

This is a hidden gem for those interested in history and the masons in Bath. Our tour guide gave an excellent tour and was very imformative about the old theatre and masonic hall.
