We held our swimming club annual dinner here for the first time in January. Excellent meal and facilities. Helpful staff. So good we've already booked the next one!

Lansdown is my favourite golf club, never closed for weather and a warm and friendly staff. The experience begins with the new and highly qualified golf professional staff. Usually challenging conditions ensure that you deserve a drink or a bite to eat on completion of your round. A competitive membership fee and a solid group of friends formed as a... More

excellent Sunday roast dinner, slice of beef and pork carver style, plenty of vegetables, all hot and well prepared. Lovely light cheesecake for dessert. Well worth the money.

I am not a member but have played here about 3 times and can't find a fault with the course. It's been in beautiful condition and the greens run true. A nice mix of really long par 5 holes and fair par 4 and 3 holes. Definitely worth a go. Always worth a call before you go just to check... More

Played here on A Saturday morning. Had played Bath Course day before and all 3 of us enjoyed this course a lot more. Greens were in great condition and no temps. Some really interesting holes including some long par 4's. Must say the team there were great, so welcoming and very helpful. Made to feel very welcome.

We played 18 holes here as a society in March 2014 for a very reasonable £25 including a full cooked english breakfast. The club house, pro shop, food and drinks were all very good and no complaints form us. The course was in good condition despite the wet winter with fast greens. It is exposed on top of a hill... Played 18 holes with a friend recently, and its got a nice balance of short and long holes. Its beautiful to play in good weather but being on top of Landsdown it can be bleak and gusty if the weather is bad. However the clubhouse is excellent and you can always get a quick bit or something more substantial when... More

Have played this course several times with friends and as a change occasionally from my playing at my own course (Bath Golf Club). Was extremely windy both times I played this year. The club has problems when there is a race meeting at the Lansdown Race Course which is adjacent - the entry road to the race course runs across... More
