This was so lovely to see. A old water mill that is still working. So interesting to hear about the mill and how it works. So cool that you could buy the flour made in the mill. Definitely worth the walk down from the castle.

Interesting old mill, where you can see how everything works and where people are still producing flour. Lovely walk from the castle to get there.

You don't often come across working watermills and this was a treat. Plenty of phot ops and the chap upstairs was happy to chat with you about its mechanism & how it all worked. Excellent !

Stop by when in Dunster. This double-wheel mill is rather special, and volunteers will tell you a lot about the technology and history of the mill.

We walked through the castle grounds to the mill thankfully in the shade.
The warm welcome as you entered seems to be the norm in Somerset.
You can watch the flour being milled by the master Miller before exploring the this fab working mill.
The double water wheels are amazing to see.
You can purchase the flour at the mill.

We visited Dunster Castle and walked to the mill, where a gentleman gave us a lovely history of the place and some great information. He was really interesting it is obvious he enjoys what he does.

Visited whilst following the one way route around Dunster Castle. The walk is very pretty and the riverside picturesque. The watermill itself is currently closed due to Covid restrictions hence the average rating

Fascinating mill made even better by the fact they were milling as we visited. Nice to see inside and a great presentation on how it all works.
