Although quite busy this was a very pleasant walk on a warm sunny day which certainly raises the heart beats and brings a sweat to the brow! The steep walk up to the Tor is certainly worth while. Allow a good half hour to walk...More

Took a long time to find somewhere to park our minibus as the signs for a coach park just sent you around in circles. Eventually got some directions off a local. Didn't take long to walk to the Tor even with small children but there...More

The view is worth the walk to the top! Take a blanket and a drink with nibbles, sit back and enjoy. .

TOR, Chalice Well, Glastonbury Abbey, Avebury stone circle, wonderful history, Amazing energies , loved the mobile free Chalice Well Gardens visit, so peaceful in an age full of technology, wonderful array of crystal shops and book stores and so much more!

Great place to walk a dog. Good healthy flight of steps to the summit where you will find St Michael's Tower. Spectacular views. On a good day you can see the sea!

I was lucky to get a sunny day and it is a genuine effort to climb it. But it is worth it. Amazing views and swallows were circling around the tower. Druids were there doing a service for a few minutes then the tower was...More

Fantastic views across the Somerset and Avalon levels. Need to be fit and healthy to make the climb but worth it. You can however in the summer months take the bus from the Cathedral car park, this drops you off half way up.

This is an absolute must visit. The Tor is magic - One extremely good piece of advice for all who ascend the summit: Take a wish with you and repeat it as you go up. The Tor will deliver the rest. Be wise in what...More

When it's not foggy you get an amazing view of the Somerset levels. It's a real climb to get up to but from the top its is just stunning.

Glastonbury Tor is free as is the tower at the top. We parked in the tourist information centre and walked to it. There is also the abbey but not sure if there is a charge as we didn't have time to visit hope this helps 😊

Yes, dogs can happily scamper up the Tor. I always take me dogs to the Tor when I visit Glastonbury :)
