We had a wonder round here one Saturday morning. Nice little second hand book shop on ground floor followed by lots of rooms with exhibits in and interesting items to look at. Another excellent free attraction in Lichfield.

Well worth a visit if you're in Lichfield, it's free and takes week over an hour. The bloke on the desk at the front door obviously loves his job and his subject.

A very interesting place to visit and learn more about the great man. Very knowledgable staff. An original copy of the famous dictionary can be seen on the top floor.

We had a wonderful time finding out so much more about Dr Johnson, especially his friendships with David Garrick and James Boswell. We were greeted by a very amusing, enthusiastic and knowlegeable volunteer, who made our visit.
