We called in to the guildhall and a helpful man pointed out the free access to the old prison cells. The exhibition is good with useful info on what they were like when they were in use.

Called in as we were walking past, my other half doesn't have anything like this in her home country so was very interested in the cells, worth a visit if you are in the area

It was a worth visit. The history is well-explained by the staff and they offer prompts to be used. Really interesting place.
