We visited Moorcroft on a Saturday but the factory tour was not on. I called them and booked us in. Well worth the visit. To see these amazing items being made is terrific. I visited with a number of friends. On the tour you see pottery workers doing all stages of moorcroft pottery. The workers are very good at explaining what they are doing, what can go wrong and how they work together to achieve the excellent product. We all learnt so much about the history of moorcroft as well as the numerous... More

Visited on a Friday which unfortunately was a day when the factory tours weren't running. They had set out the factory floor as a market which we found great. Free tea, coffer and biscuits were supplied and the assistants put on a video of a factory tour that was very informative . Wonderful products, each a work of art.

It has taken us years to get onto the factory tour for one reason or another. No over imopressed with the whole Stoke on Trent area which is much in need of few millions spending on it. This ploce however is the shining light and the Rolls Royce of pottery quality. Yes the stuff is very expensive but the tour... More

I visited today the heritage centre and truly enjoyed their factory tour. It is the quietest factory I've ever visited and such a nice atmosphere. The guide lady was so detailed and very informative, and those ladies who paints few little pots welcomed us with friendly smiles. I'd recommend anyone who loves Moorcroft and even if you are not a... More

Did a Moorcroft pottery factory tour, actually it is a visitor centre where they show you how the pottery is made, painted, fired etc. rather than the working factory. None the less the tour is very informative and the people demonstrating the various stages excel in their work. The ladies doing the tube lining and painting were especially brilliant. The... More

Brought out my mum here for her 70th birthday. Loved the little museum showing the history of the the factory and the designs through the year. Also had a great DVD on showing the design and manufacturing process. The actual pottery on show was simply stunning, amazing hand crafted quality. I have to give a shout out to the members... More

There is no greater pottery in the world than Moorcroft Pottery. The skill and talent shown in each piece is totally inspiring and I am in awe of the artistry shown by each and every modeller and painter. The museum is small but is filled with pieces that will blow your mind. The factory tour is really enjoyable and very... More

This shop is visually amazing with all that fantastic Moorcroft china on display plus the Museum showing Moorcroft’s prodigious output and all that amazing skilled work. There is a short but very good video - well worth a watch. The Collectors shop a few hundred meters away is also amazing and next door is a workshop were the staff were... More
