Sense Stoke with the potters, and Wedgewood's Grave. See Stoke before the potters, can you find the shaft of a Saxon Cross? See the old font inside the Church, where children are still christened today. Sense how people have walked through the doors, and prayed inside them for over a thousand years. Who knows what else? What else will these... More

A special place with a long long history and a witness to Christian values throughout the industrial hay day of this town and city... having much to offer to a busily renewing modern N. Staffs.

Wow.. Where to begin! We have lots of family history we knew about connected with this super place.. Have visited before but our guided tour last Saturday(pre arranged) with Mike Shaw (church warden) was just the best! Unfortunately my first time inside Stoke Minister was for my friends funeral. I walked around the grounds before the service and found many historic finds. It's very educational

I was there when the church was closed. I wandered around and read the inscriptions on the gravestones, which are many scattered around the church. Quiet historic site. According to the stories inside there is a beautiful body, but I do not davelos hear his music.

Kids enjoyed exploring around the church and graves. Was some interesting arts and sculptures and was an exciting walk around the grave yard in the evening light

Stoke Minster is a little forgotten Gem! Situated on the edge of the forgotten backwater of Stoke, it is opposite the Council Offices with a substantial graveyard which is split by a modern road. On our visit, we had a wonderful ad-hoc tour, given by the church warden. He was - as could be expected - incredibly knowledgeable and could... More

Lovely church The bell ringing, especially on a Sunday is well worth listening to! I am so sorry to give such a poor rating but my assessment is because,,,, The graveyard is neat and tidy but what a disgrace the Wedgwood memorial is, surrounded by bars and scattered with weeds and litter. Other memorials to world famous potters and their... More
