This is a fascinating place, with something for everyone. The popular image is of the smart concert hall and the shops for affluent tourists, but the buildings themselves, and their restoration/conversion are well worth examining. We particularly like the gallery by the river, where the...More

We saw Gareth Malone and Friends (the Ayoub Sisters and Swingles). The venue is acoustically wonderful with the very high Maltings roof. Gareth has a nice personality and I thought the two supporting acts were brilliant.

I came for just a concert, but got so much more: art, shopping, good places to eat, great walking, beautiful scenery and buildings. Autumn is really beautiful here. You can even stay over!More

Snape Maltings is an interesting collection of shops housed in some lovely old brewery buildings. Well worth a visit, the riverside location provides some great walks before or after the shopping experience.
