Beautiful lakes and excellent facilities. I struck out today, but am heading back again tomorrow to try my luck. We will be renting a boat tomorrow to get to some of the harder to reach spots and maybe increase our luck

Bury Hill Fisheries are the benchmark by which all UK commercial course fisheries should be measured. Clean, and tidy surrounded by beautiful countryside and manicured lawns, Magnolia trees and hedgerows this fishery has everything (except a fish-able river frontage - but that's not their fault!). I have visited twice a year for the past 6 years or so and if... More

Good day spent fishing. Nothing caught by either of us but still a good day. Hopefully when we visit again I will have more to report.

Conditions weren't great but at least no rain. We got some helpful hints from the tackle shop but murky water made this a very tough day. One zander was landed. For breakfast we arrived at the 'cafe' and were greeted by a kindly gentleman who appeared slightly bemused at the prospect that the lakeside cafe (which according to the website... More

Haven't fished for several years and went down to Bury for a day with no bait or tackle. Only costs £10 to hire rod/reel etc for the day. I started on the main lake with float tackle and maggots - no bite for 1hr and decided to move on to Bonds. I expected to catch a few small carp here... More

Loved the breakfasts, A bacon sandwich and a mug of tea with a view like that over the lake - What could be better

Having fished this venue for over twenty years i can honestly say it only gets better and better with time, the old lake still looks like it has forever set in some of the most beautiful countryside in england. the newer lakes are now pretty mature and offer a great days fishing no matter what your prey, full of chunks... I visited Bury Hill with a friend for the first time on 27th June. We were very impressed with whole set-up from the tackle shop, cafe to the lakes. The guy in the tackle shop was particularly helpful - thanks a lot. The setting is stunning and the fishing excellent (although due to my own lack of skill I found landing... More

My teenage son is a mad keen match fisherman and I often have to transport him to Bury Hills early in the morning. The fishery is really well designed and the complex of fishing lakes is large and it is well stocked with a variety of fish. The setting is attractive and the catering facilities are really good if you... More

Old Bury Empty I have fished for carp at this Nice but expensive venue quiet a few times over the last 4-5 years...Clearly any Carp of notable weight have been removed and placed in the specialist membership only lake. So don't bother popping down there for the day expecting to catch a whakker.... It just won't Happen !
