I love box hill , what a fantastic view across Surrey , today was some what windy but worth it , plenty of car park space within the viewing area , and a cafe should you need a basic refreshment .

Located near to Dorking off the A24 road and also access from Boxhill Road. Winter time all the shops and information points and parking are open 10am till 4pm so plan your day around these times. National trust owned and parking is free for members....More

This is the perfect place to go for a perfect panoramic view of Surrey! There are many trails to explore and on a sunny day, great for a picnic. Its a must see if you live or visit Surrey.

Tremendous panaromic views of the surrounding countryside for as far as the eye can see. Lovely walks and benches to sit and admire the scenery and take in the fresh country air. Coffee bar on site offering snacks hot drinks and beverages at reasoanble prices....More

Box Hill is just down the road from where I live...there are an endless amount of things to do, beit walking, mountain biking, exploring, Box Hill has it all in abundance.

Awesome walks and views, plenty to keep the children occupied whilst you stroll through the woods. Plenty of places for a picnic however the café offers a great place for a coffee and snacks. Chese scone was a little salty though
