Visited this gallery yesterday there was some very interesting paintings to see. There is a cafe on site but we had just had lunch so we're not hungry but I will remember for next time.

The must see item at this gallery has to be the wood carving of Gerrard Robinson, it is absolutely stunning, my Husband was very taken with it. Various pictures by local artists too.More

The Paul Nash exhibition which is spread through 3 rooms has a fee for entry the other exhibitions are all free. Once the ticket is purchased you can return to the exhibition that same day which is very helpful : we took advantage of this,...More

This might not be one of the biggest galleries but its still worth a visit. Free entry apart from special events such as The Paul Nash exhibition which is on until January. Also they have late night events. We loved the paintings of old Newcastle...More

This museum / art gallery was excellent. Admittedly a large part was occupied by shops and cafes, but the admission was FREE, and (free) toilets were provided. I’m sure many of these ‘non London’ galleries / museums are financially struggling so this definitely needs support...More

A very friendly relaxing place to be. Paintings and exhibits are carefully placed for viewing. The Cafe is lovely, with friendly, helpful staff.
