This is definitely the landmark of Newcastle. It is a bridge which is over the Tyne River. Really beautiful bridge and a must see for anyone who visits Newcastle

Go during the day, I would imagine that the area is pretty seedy at night. There are many places to stop and take pictures of your friends or group. It seems like people put up locks on parts of the bridges to profess their love...More

This bridge is one of the iconic landmarks of Newcastle. It’s free to walk across it and you get great views up and down the Tyne river.

A magnificent bridge. A bit hectic in rush hour. Some excellent views, in places looking DOWN on masses of chimney pots. But come on Newcastle, clean the whole city up, its a muck heap.

It looked like the Harbour bridge from a distance. We thought we could climb to the top. The view was enough and satisfying.

Instantly recognisable landmark that cuts and impressive scene over the River Tyne. The Quayside area is pretty and this bridge is one aspect of that beauty

One of the many wonderful bridges that cross the River Tyne, the Tyne Bridge is instantly recognizable as being a Newcastle landmark. Opened in 1928, it connects Newcastle and Gateshead, and sits in a very historic and scenic part of the area.
