Seen a lot of acts in this theater (good and bad!) but the building is worth going into just for the look of it. Always got nice staff on who are always helpful.

Went to watch lindisfarne at the city hall as I've done before. But this time I had to get tickets in the balcony ( never again ) . I'd rather not go, than sit there. Not enough leg room for a dwarf! . This was...More

We went to a concert at the City Hall last week and were really pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. Yes it is a small venue (don't expect loads of leg room or large seats) but it was perfectly comfortable for a 2...More

This is a very tired venue and the acoustics are poor. I spent several hours sitting in a seat with next to no padding left and wishing for the end of the concert, which is not what I paid a lot of money to do....More

The City Hall use to be one if my favourite destinations but even after the recent refurbishment of the bar and toilets the actual auditorium and seats are extremely dated, dirty and uncomfortable. Stick to visiting the Sage, Baltic, Arena and Theatre Royal every time.

Visited 3 weeks ago to see Texas. Texas were amazing, however the city hall was not. Showsec security stopped people taking photos, dancing, standing. It was that bad Sharleen Spiteri got everyone up to dance. She even told a steward to leave a concert goer...More

I think Row M in the stalls as there is absolutely loads of leg room. Defo not front row balcony. Check the seating plan tho first before you book.
