We’d been told by several locals to visit this church, so we did. We were greeted by a friendly lady and given a handout about the church’s history. As you go around you can tell this church is still very much used. Flowers waiting to...More

This fine church stands proud in the heart of the very pretty town of Warwick. Its tower is high and dominants the skyline. Inside it is a well kept church with lots of history. Well worth a browse.

The church was open at 5pm to coincide with the begining of the Victorian market. All the Christmas Trees were decorated for the Christmas Tree Festival and the people staffing it had dressed accordinly. The overall effect was stunning.

I went to this church during a visit to Warwick, there is no charge to visit. There is some impressive stained glass and also large tombs, well worth a visit, recommended.

We arrived to find that a memorial service was being held by the Warwickshire fire brigade consequently we had little opportunity to delve into the church and all its treasures.

Very nice church. About one of only a few that I’ve visited that don’t ask for a donation from you to take photos. Two really ornate tombs in it, one made of bronze holding the body of the Earl of Warwick, very impressive!

See Robert Dudley’s tomb and 14th century Earl of Warwick’s The Beauchamps. Climb to the top of the Tower for beautiful views.
