This is a lovely walk in built up Hal Green. Its really lovely to walk in tranquility by the side oif the river. It passes the delightful Sarehole Mill and continues beyond to Tritiford Park. Its a wilderness that is easy to access and easy to travel along. Lots of wildlife and the kingfishers are quite often seen. The area changes with the seasons. Plenty of blackberries and sloes and if you know where to look you can find wild garlic and raspberries. Most friendly local people walking dogs who are always happy to help.... More

An attempt is being made to revitalise this area with cycle tracks but its not maintained and is allready getting overgrown.majority of peole you pass are pleasant but its spoiled by try ing to avoid unsavory inner city urchins that also hang around this area. No seating at the stechford end .but the airport end allways has many peopl watching... More

overgrown, litter everywhere drug dealers muggings rampant In the 80's it was beautiful kids played cricket and soccer, parents could watch from kitchen windows. Trust me I know I was born and raised in this area
