The thanks of both families go to Claire, Spencer, Dave and their teams for organising our daughters wedding at Highbury Hall on the 22nd October 2016. Everyone attending was stunned by the venue, the warmth of the welcome, the superb food, and the helpful and efficient staff. The wedding day was absolutely splendid and could not have been better. We... More

This lovely house is not normally open for public visits, but it's well worth it, if you can catch an Open day! Beautiful carving on many panelled walls, and doors, lovely details in the glass windows and ceilings. The cafe area in the dining room was limited when I visited, but for special occasions it may be set up differently. I'd... More

Located in Moseley, Highbury was originally home to the Chamberlain family. Joseph Chamberlain was a businessman who moved to the city but brought with him a slice of country life. The adjoining Highbury park was part of his estate and holds much history. It is often used for walks by local wildlife experts who give up their time to escort the... More

Attended a wedding on sunday. Very efficient staff and facilities. Nice grounds for photos providing a dry day. Could do with steps down from the grass verge though. Some car parking available. Lots of Chamberlain history in the place. There are also public grounds accessible from Kings Heath side.

My daughter and her now husband were married here on Saturday. Lovely building with an old fashioned elegance, good grounds, very helpful staff. Food was good although they could have done with slightly more staff to make the service quicker. Those of us at the top table were finished before some people had started. Staff had to work really hard.... More

Wow. What can I say. We could not recommend this venue for a wedding more if we tried. Claire (the planning), Ian (the running of the day), and all the staff at Highbury ensured we have the perfect wedding and we cannot thank them enough. I strongly urge anyone looking at venues for their wedding to consider and visit this... More

What a wonderful building with stunning rooms and atmosphere. Warming, not too big but plenty of rooms to wander in and out of. Wonderful to have the run of the place it was very comfortable. And the terrace gardens ... Wow. Hidden away, a gorgeous house and the food was good , the service was faultless.

This is a lovely old house that used to be the home of the Chamberlain family, who were one of the most important families in Birmingham's history. Unfortunately the building is managed or mismanaged by Birmingham City Council. It’s very rarely open I would like to see this building managed by the national Trust. They know how to run a... More
