Visitor Centre: Shop, Information Centre, Cafe, Toilets, Baby Changing Facilities, Discovery Centre, Education Rooms, Conference and Event Facilities, Disabled Access Park Facilities: Picnic/BBQ Areas, Play Areas (Climbing Forest and Playground), Formal Gardens, Fishery, Bide Hide and SSSI, Duck and Swan Feeding, Pond Dipping Platforms, Woodland Trails, Birthday Parties, Family Events and Activities throughout the year - see our website for more details. This is a beautiful park! It comes with a lake, bird-watching facilities, café, free educational activities (holidays - open most days, all day), picnic facilities, woodland climbing apparatus, gift shop and all toilet facilities. Brilliant venue. Canapés,food, entertainment and service absolutely superb. Well worth the money. The grounds are gorgeous and the marquee looked beautiful. No expense spared in making all feel welcome

It was really a nice visit. I enjoyed walking round. There are good facilities for all the family plenty of places to sit admire nature & the view, really good for young children.

a great day out in the winter on xmas day. Had a nice walk round, with picnic in a natural habitat. Would have been better were it more accessible by public transport. City council transport department needs to look at this.

The Country Park is great for families as it has a number of attractions for children. Firstly over the road from the car park there is a 'conventional' playground with swings etc., There is also a café and toilets that are usually clean. As you venture into the park you pass by a lake where there are numerous waterfowl waiting... More

You do have to pay for parking. I don't know own how much as hubby paid. But it's beautiful if you go on a none raining day. Gives you're legs a good stretch. The coffee shop serves hot drinks dunno about hot food we just had a sandwich as they looked fresh . It also has a great Park for... More
