Stunning from the outside. We had to take a look as the cathedral mentions Sir Philip Howard, my brother-in-law's namesake. There was a service actively underway when we visited so we could only peep through the main door, but the inside looked stunning, with lovely stained glass windows.

The cathedral overlooks Arundel and is reached by quite steep cobbled lanes if on foot but well worth it. Beautiful setting and stained glass windows.

A small but stunning cathedral. The vaulted ceilings are quite spectacular and the stained glass catches the sun due to the position of the cathedral at the top of the hill. A gothic building with gargoyles on the outside. The font area is towards the back of the building, just opposite to the entrance. I will be returning to witness... More

Compact Gothic cathedral which is plainer than some and very elegant. The Corpus Christie carpet of flowers is well worth a visit in June. The cathedral sits atop a small medieval town which has hardly grown since the 1700s. It was built in Victorian times by one of the Duke of Norfolks and was originally supposed to have a spire.... A magnificent building with a very interesting history. Considering this building was built in 1800's it looks many centuries old in style. The stained glass windows are beautiful and the handouts available are very detailed and nice to see so many languages catered for too. A beautiful building to visit at any time of year. Lovely thought to have heating... More

As an Arundel resident I go to the Corpus Christi Carpet of Flowers every year. It's a beautiful building at any time, although not as old as it looks. Victorian gothic Catholic cathedral built by the 15th Duke of Norfolk. The highlight of the year has to be the Carpet of Flowers though. Very special.

What an great building to spend a bit of time in. Arundel has so many things to do, but a few minutes in the cathedral peace away from everything else is well worth the effort. Beautiful windows, and amazing organ. Get to hear it if you can!

The Arundel cathedral is beautiful and well worth a quick visit. There is a lot of history in Arundel so I definitely recommend a trip here.
