This attraction appears to me to be run down and neglected, has been for years. I feel the owners heart is not in here or vaguely interested if it was mine I would be writing it off as a tax loss each year. Due to lack of investment there is very little to see or do here. When I took... More

Pulled up to butterflies and birds and wasn't the most impressed, looks pretty run down. No butterflies for another week :( Even though the appearance on the outside is poor and the inside needs a bit of work, we saw a lot of birds and reptiles, and even fed some rabbits and donkeys. The place rescues a lot of animals... More

despite a notice saying open 11.00 to 3.00 this place was closed. It is not the easiest place to find unless you have GPS. The car park was full of pot holes, and the whole place looked rundown. Considering how much it costs for entry it was not very appealing from the outside

Visited this place last week and my children loved it!! It does need a lot of TLC that's true but it's such a large area to run it needs a lot more staff but financially it probably isn't taking enough to employ help! The lady's were lovely but they could probably get away with halving the site and making that... More

Visited with my husband today whilst holidaying in the area. It cost £18 for us to get in, plus we paid for a bag of animal food (£1). The butterfly area was small and didn't take long to walk around. The butterflies we did see were lovely but there was a dead one stuck in a cobweb...The bird enclosure was... More

Its got lots of potential but sadly appears to be neglected. We actually still enjoyed our visit, I suspect this was once a very nice place. There is an overall feeling of being stuck in a time warp, it obviously has money/investment problems. Either the price needs to be substantially lowered, or the place needs substantial improvement.

I wish I could attach photos to this review, as I can't you will just have to take my word for it. When you arrive it all looks charming. The entrance seems fine - once you have paid your £8 per person ticket you suddenly begin to realise what a mistake you might have made.H & S should be sent... More

Went there today and omg what I saw was awful. This place needs to be shutdown and the animals need to go somewhere they will be looked after. The donkeys were shaking as though they were terrified to even move. The reptiles could hardly be seen through the dirt in the cages. The birds area had tons of bird pooh... More

I'm not quite sure what's happened here - this used to be one of my favourite places to come to with the small people on a rainy day because there was so much to do. It has never had delusions of grandeur and has always been a little untidy, but that was always part of its charm. But having visited... More
