Set just behind the cathedral and free to visit. A great place to sit and rest with the backdrop of Chichester cathedral in the background. Best time to visit is the end of May when the garden is full of fragrant roses.

First visit to the gardens although we have been to Chichester many times. A good month to appreciate the old fashioned roses which smell delightful. Overall a lovely peaceful garden, very informal flower beds with some large specimen trees. Really worth a visit.
