This place is tight on my doorstep and it is another great place for walking. You can make the walk as long or as short as you like. Great for dog walking and feeding the ducks

My family & I enjoy a trip to Golden Acre Park. It's not huge, but there's lovely walks to be had & we always enjoy spotting the squirrels. They are very tame, not afraid of people at all, so can easily feed them nuts &...More

Golden Acre Park, although fairly small, is a nice well-kept park to wander through. You can also the nature reserve to do some bird watching which was nice, and the cafe is also quite nice.

Having sampled crumpets at the Tropical World café we drove to Golden Acre Park. We were lucky to find a space in the car park. It was very refreshing to see so many children getting fresh air and exercise whether it be walking, riding bykes...More

a good place for lunch or coffee and cakes. Sandwiches, soups, and general lunch time food available. A pleasant walk around the park is great too.

There aren't admission charges and parking is free. There is a cafe and a small shop, so it would be what you want to spend.
