I visited this park on my own, being new to the area it was my first visit, it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The carpark was busy, but I did manage to park without too much trouble, this was more down to luck then anything else. The park is lovey, there are plenty of areas to walk without too much... More

Lovely lake, gardens and cafe, lots to see and lovely views. The lake can be accessed via an underpass from the free car park. We walked round the lake which is approx 1 mile so nice steady easy walk, even for me and I have walking limitations. There are plenty of seats at regular intervals around the lake to enjoy... More

This is a nice well kept park with lots of open space. It's great for the kids to ride their bikes and scooters. You can feed the ducks. There's lots of places you can eat a picnic and lots of places to explore.

We bring our son here for walks on a regular basis. This park is beautiful and somewhat magical in all seasons. My son loves feeding the ducks and swans by the lake. The flowers are gorgeous in the spring. The cafe is lovely with good coffee and good food. It does get very busy so we always aim to get... More

This is a regular haunt for us to potter round, with the dog and kids, and we often call at the coffee shop, tea room, for a cuppa or a sandwich.

OK, the weather helped, it being a lovely sunny day, but the park itself was really nice, full of good, interesting laid out paths, features such as the lake, and the super cafe, with good food and friendly staff. A great place to visit

Golden Acre Park is a lovely park that can be enjoyed all year round. There is a lake with a bird hide, perfect for feeding the ducks and birds, lots of open grass areas for playing or relaxing and some woodland areas that are great for walking (and squirrel spotting!). There are also toilet facilities and a recently refurbished cafe,... More

The parokmis really an all weather venue, popular with Dog walkers and families to burn of some energy or for a walk after lunch to burn of a few calories. take good boots or wellies as it can be muddy after the rain.
