From Belfast and it is buzzing. What is wrong with Leeds. It was a Tuesday afternoon/ evening, but poor attempt. Very small no atmosphere. Sorry not good.

Travelled 2hrs to visit this German Christmas market and to say we were all very disappointed is an understatement. there were approx 15 huts with overpriced good. took about 10 mins to get round. really not worth the time and defo will not be returning

After reading reviews of Leeds Christmas Market three of us paid for a train ticket and travelled over an hour to visit. What a let down, the market was only small and not at all what we expected. We were looking forward to lots more stalls. Wont be visiting here again

Got there early, about 10, parked on Great George street, (£1 for 4 hours) and took a slow stroll up to the market, via Costa for a coffee and spent a couple of hours looking at the stalls, taking the kids on the rides and letting them watch the 'Frozen' show. Various prices for a variety of primarily Xmas purchases... More

Getting rid of the beer tent has made for a better atmosphere and fewer idiots. It's not as busy and you can quite easily get served. There are also not as many stalls, but a less crowded square makes for a more pleasant experience than usual.

Less and less stalls and all charging more! One refused to accept a £10 note as it had a slight tear to the corner!

This is where the theatres are based and the Xmas markets are well worth seeing with beer stands and gift shops.

A nice square with the lovely town hall and museum and numerous bars and restaurants. I was surprised at how small the German Christmas Market was somehow I was expecting it to be much much larger like the excellent one in Birmingham. There were some interesting stalls though and it looked pretty lighting up the square as the evening approached.
