Lovely outdoor eating area on a sunny day, excellent service too.

I was in town to meet an old friend, we spent a very relaxed few hours outside eating and drinking in this lovely location.

What a beautiful place to watch the boats going through the locks and a very pleasant walk along the Thames path to marvel at the wildlife and fantastic home's along the way.

Love this area to relax and see the boats travel through the lock, walking over the lock to the island great area for picnics, small area of birds and small annimals to see as you watch the River flow by, however move further along and watch the water turn white as it rushed though the wier. Great place to visit

There were so many family's here, playing cricket, hide and seek and feeding the ducks, it's a place that doesn't fail in making you smile. We... More

Lovely views of the river and idyllic setting. Good for all the family and free! The inn on the island has spectacular views and excellent food. Sit upstairs for the best views.

if you want to amuse the kids for an hour or two you should consider this place, specially during the summer, or if you want to chill out it's an ideal spot. Parking across the road at 50p for 3 hours, a short walk takes you to the flowing river with a small bird sanctuary, cafe, toilets, and plenty of... More

Nice place to go for a little work, has Averie's with interesting birds in them , great for a picnic and you can also buy food at a little cafe or there is a pub/restaurant next to the lock itself. A good afternoon out with children and family, must have the weather though!
