A great day out with or without children. Loads of history & plenty to see. My girls loved the Dolls house. A great idea with the multilingual earphones to help explain more about the castle. Will definitely go again.

All I can say is get there early.. At least an hour before and get in line. Droves of buses arrive and 400 people will beat you in que. Grab your audio guide and get moving. The castle itself is amazing. The Abby was incredible. Fun visit. Just a tourist trap so be prepared to stand in lines, pushed about... More

First point buy your ticket at least 24 hrs before to avoid excessive queing. The church was closed for a private wedding and hundreds of people had no idea.Signs would be good outside the castle.Half the state rooms are closed may, sept. Although still a reasonable visit ,the castle trades on the fact visitors will always want to enter especially those... More

Had a great day with the family and very busy. We would of cued for ages if I hadn't of read previous reviews...so I printed my tickets at home and headed straight for the main gate. Well worth the visit and had plenty of time to go shopping and eat after.

The audio guide is a great way to make your way around the castle. Both the castle and the chapel are well worth the visit. I would avoid going with a large group tour - they seemed to be waiting in very long lines while we just walked up. We live in Windsor so it's pretty easy for us but... More

Unusually busy day due to bank holiday. We waited about 1 hr to get in but those with tickets bypassed the line. They ran out of audio tour machines. Plenty to see, plan 2hrs+ to see everything.

Tourists everywhere! Fight your way through but I must say it's worth it. This is an essential part of English history. It's grandeur befits this long lasting monarchy. Official home of the monarchs going right back to the Normans. QEII resides here. Knights of the Garter are invested here and many royals are buried here. Buy tickets online queues are... More

The castle was gorgeous and one of my favorite things on our trip. We used the London pass and did the excursion on our own instead of doing one of the tour groups. The audio tour was very informative and easy to use. FYI - We went on a Sunday so the St George's chapel was not accessible due to... More
