Beautiful spacious gardens with lovely lawns and a great central point for meeting up. We had a picnic, let the children run about and later talked to some other travellers who had come on a coach trip. A relaxed and lovely spot right near the...More

In contrast to the business and sometimes queueing of the shopping area there is this oasis of green just on the edge - all readily accessible and available. These are well maintained gardens with attractive floral displays, architectural trees and close proximity to the water....More

After our visit to Windsor Castle, we grabbed lunch at Cinnamon Cafe and went to the park to eat. It was a quiet place, and it was nice to sit on a bench and have a relaxing meal before we went back to sightseeing.

So close to the main town and along side the River Thames this is a lovely park in which to have a picnic and let children run around in safety.

The gardens and mini golf were quite nice and relaxing. However, the car park charges up to 7pm, but the toilets are closed an hour before!

The gardens are well cared for and provide loads of grass for the kids to play on and family entertainment at the rides and crazy golf. In the shadow of Windsor Castle and by the Thames, this is ideal for a picnic, or just a...More

This is a very nice park in the summertime so I thought I would visit today. Unfortunately though pleasant there is not much to see just a few bedding plants at the castle end.

I would think you could! There are no rules on it and everyone does it nowadays. There is a lot of open space there so it could be done.
