We went as part of our honeymoon and it was utterly fabulous. We were met by Jo and Glyn who were extremely friendly and welcoming on behalf of Ginnie. We learnt all about the different alpacas, Jo and Glyn were very knowledgeable. We loved feeding and walking them. A definate must if your looking for an alternative outdoor experience that is memorable.

Amazing Experience
Oct 2021 • Family
We booked the experience for our son’s 12th birthday as he loves animals and paid for all four of us to join in which I am so glad we did!! Jo and Glyn were really great guides and made us feel so welcome! They clearly had so much love and care for the animals which came through in the calm and attentive way they interacted with us and the Alpacas!! It was just really fun and special, a rare opportunity to get close to and learn about these lovely creatures! Highly recommended activity for all ages.

What a Venue
Oct 2021
Went to a craft fair that aimed to fundraise for FND FrieNDs the charity. Amazing venue, right in the heart of the cotswolds. Footfall was well controlled as the owner implemented a time-slot system. Also for the welfare of the animals to make it not too busy or overwhelming for them. Normally they have to only do bookings to help this. I saw many people go over to see the alpacas, but also the merchandise was intriguing and who would have known, alpaca wool is so soft! Definitely want to go again.

Deserveing of its awards
Sep 2021 • Family
We booked this as part of a big family weekend so mainly adults in their 30s but also grandparents and younger children
Everyone was catered for.
The time was well paced and the whole experience thought through. The alpacas are adorable and the both the feeding experiences along side all our questions being answered and the walking the boys at the end meant that all our party could engage all the way through.
The contact with Virginia from booking onwards was excellent and changing of plans all adapted to.
We did this whilst in the area but if you’ve got a group then it’s worth traveling.

Amazing experience!
Sep 2021 • Family
Went went as a family of 5 adults for my wife's 30th birthday and had a brilliant time! Ginnie was very informative and we were so pleased with the amount of time and level of interaction we had with the Alpacas. We were able to feed the males, females and young Alpacas. We then had one on one time with an individual Alpaca each to walk around an agility course.

Overall it was a fantastic experience and we would definitely recommend for all ages and group types.

Perfect day out!
Sep 2021
We visited on a hen do this weekend, and it was the perfect day, better than we could have imagined. Jo and Ginnie were such wonderful hosts from the start, taking us through the plan for the day and answering all our questions throughout the day. We fed two sets of alpacas, who all had such a lovely temperament. You could tell they were well looked after by how relaxed they were and also how they responded to commands.

Afterwards we went on a walking experience where all the group took turns to walk 4 of the walking boys, and it was the highlight of the day being able to cuddle some and get to be close to them!

We then had the most incredible afternoon tea in a gazebo right by the fields. Vegans, veggies and meat eaters were all catered for, and it was the most delicious spread - Jo is a fantastic baker! There were so many wonderful little touches, right down to the alpaca shaped shortbread we got to take home.

A perfect day's activity for us, and a highlight of the weekend. Thank you so much to Ginnie & Jo for being such wonderful hosts. Do visit if you are in the area, you won't regret it!

What a great place to visit. Jo was very knowledgable and told us all about Alpacas before we got to meet them.
We had lots of time to feed and get to know them followed by 1:1 time with an alpaca .

I would highly recommend this experience for couples and families. Everyone was so friendly and they were very COVID safe.

Thank you so much.

Such a wonderful experience
Aug 2021 • Family
We had such an amazing experience meeting, feeding and cuddling the Alpacas. It really made our stay in the Cotswolds special. Jo was so informative, telling us all about the Alpacas the whole time, and answered an inordinate amount of questions we threw her way. There was enough food for us to feed the different herds which was great. Ginny’s Alpacas all had really good temperaments and are all really loved and well looked after. The 2 therapy Alpacas we met at the end were brilliant - we even raced them!! Alpacas are adorable creatures - if you have never met an Alpaca or would like to meet an Alpaca I cannot recommend Cotswold Vale Alpacas highly enough - it really made our day.
