One of the best small museums we have ever visited. Located in what was the Malvern Priory gatehouse this museum is packed with items telling the story of the development of Malvern and its key historical figures. Very well ordered and displayed. Thoroughly and interestingly explained. Particularly good are the rooms featuring the story of Malvern's Victorian heyday as a... More

A small museum in the gatehouse of the old priory, but full of stories. Each room has a different theme - prehistory/ the monastic life/ the Victorian water cures (loved the chap in the bath!) and the technological developments in radar and telecommunications in the 20th century Well worth the small entrance fee! (PS some stairs, but not steep)

Interesting little museum in the 15th century Priory Gatehouse right in the centre of town. Friendly, informative volunteer staff and good value for money. Imaginative selection of items to buy relating to local history (I bought a mousemat). Various themed rooms as you walk round inside. Certainly well worth a visit.

A wide selection of items from many years of occupation, covers WWII well, the spa years, and much more. One of the better local museums I've been to. Well staff an great gift shop.

Quirky little museum of local history but well worth a look when visiting the Priory. Lots of steps though and not easy for disabled.

A small museum located in the arch way no good if you have mobility problems very steep stairs inside, it costs £2 but if you are interested in local history it is well worth it. Sort of above the church on the hill and then left.

Very compact museum with all space used to the maximum. Audio guides available to tell the stories. Separate rooms for different periods in Malvern's history.
