This beautiful 16th century building in the heart of historic Friar Street is run as a museum by volunteers. Displays focus on the house's past, as a home to Tudor weavers through to its use as an ARP Warden's office in WW2, and a school clinic thereafter. A cafe serves tea, coffee and wrapped cakes on vintage bone china. There is a Tudor Rat trail for children. Open Wednesday and Saturday 10-4, and Thursdays in the summer.

From J Boy of Derby Interesting old house in an historic part of Worcester, 2 floors and a good inside into how an old kitchen looked like years ago. It's one of those places where you mind your head and enjoy the sound of the creaking floors. Free entry donations requested to help keep it going. The house is run... More

This was a fascinating little place, run by volunteers. It doesn't take long to get around but the volunteers are so helpful and willing to fill in all the background stories to the exhibits. Well worth a visit

Called in and was so pleased we found this little gem. So interesting to go up and down the various levels , the kitchen was so well equiped and I recognised most of what was there unlike my daughter. Wish we would have more time there and also to have had tea at the shop but next time for sure.

Visited in Feb half term with my 8 year old and 3 year old. They both enjoyed the displays and the lovely staff was ever ready to give details required. A must see if you are in the town.

We passed this house earlier on in the day and noticed the amasing knitted tea cosies with the intention of returning. We returned just as they were closing. Were in time to buy a tea cosy but seemingly too late to order a pot of tea! They insisted that they accommodated us. One of the volunteers was touching up the... More

I cannot count the number of times I have walked past this museum and have not given it any thought. However, we had been to lunch at Saffrons and had time to spare and wandered in here. This museum is run by volunteers and is full of interest. I was watching a film of the history of Worcester which was... More

Dear Hilary Thank you for such a lovely review! Everyone at Tudor House is pleased you enjoyed your visit so much. Yes, unfortunately the film is an old one, but we feel it gives an insight into how the much the city has changed and developed in a relatively short space of time. Thank you also for the donation mention!... More
