If you like exquisite porcelain you must visit this museum. We were lucky to meet Avril who used to make porcelain flower decorations demonstrating techniques and also a group of conservators renovating the original design drawings. As well as hundreds of examples of fine bone china porcelain. As well as a good gift shop!

A breath taking collection of Worcester best bone China, the staff are very helpful, the hand painted China the best that I have ever seen. You are only 100 yds from Worcester Cathedral

We were very unlucky with timing of our visit to the Royal Worcester museum, arriving just as the BBC were about to film Philip Serrell visiting the museum as part of the tv show Antique Road Trip. We were therefore unable to go into the museum itself. However what a treat we had chatting with the ladies in the museum... More

A good overview of pottery history as royal Worcester led the way. The only sad thing is that the company was taken over by foreigners and no longer appear to be producing pottery

Amazing things to be seen. Sensory overload! I could go back again and again and still not take everything in. Two floors, tracing the history of Royal Worcester through the type of pottery, showing examples of the many large services ordered by royals from King George III on and explaining the changes in fashion over the centuries. Makes one very... More

An absolute must when visiting Worcester. The museum is fantastic. Just round the corner from the cathedral. Some of the exhibits are mind blowing. It would take me a 1,000 years to produce anything approaching some of them. Highly recommended.

The museum has a fascinating history of the production of Royal Worcester from the most exquisite products down to humdrum items during the two World Wars. There are recordings you can listen to about so many of the items on display. I enjoyed talking to Ken, the retired gilder of the factory, and learned so much from other staff about... More

I visited with my young family during term time. It was not very busy so they got to enjoy each part to its fullest. There was a craft workshop being run that my toddler and 7 year old both enjoyed. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
