The Worcester Guildhall is a stunning building in the city centre. Dating back to 1721, it is equally beautiful inside. It has a rich and varied history, well worth a visit to admire and find out more.

Free to enter and walk around, but it is a working building with meetings going on in a lot of the rooms. It's certainly not worth going out of your way to visit if you're not nearby and have 15 minutes to spare.

If you're going to visit the cathedral you'd be well served stopping off here as well, if only to admire another building steeped in history.

We were recommended to visit this by the tourist office, and it is certainly worth a visit, especially upstairs where there are many fine portraits as well as a beautiful ceiling.

Free entry to an impressive building with history. Sometimes a meeting etc can stop all of the building being accessed. Worth a look,

This attractive building is well-maintained and has a bit of history on the façade. The head above the doorway is that of Oliver Cromwell, who was beheaded for his traitorous activities against the crown. The heads in the façade are similarly of other opposition figures...More
