We visited Caernarfon on a coach tour of Snowdonia. Given we had 4 hours in Caernarfon we had plenty of time to visit the castle and Royal Welch Fusiliers museum. Entry to the castle was good value at less than £10 but we were disappointed...More

It's taken the family over 15 years to visit this castle. Which is mad as we only live down the road. Better late than never. But it's brilliant.

There is no accommodation at the castle. There is a Travelodge, premier inn and several hotels in the town including the black boy inn which is within the town walls.
