Walked most of the island, including the top of Bardsey mountain...what views. Back to the harbour with 45mins to spare before Colin picked us up, were entertained by dozens of seals and their pups. Thought it was quite expensive to cross but worth every penny.

small cottage with crogloft bedroom. steep ladder to low ceiling loft.Amazing view over the Irish Sea, stunning sunsets. Small compact kitchen with everything you need. Not the best place to stay if you are unsteady on your feet or VERY tall! Outside composting toilet, no bathroom or electricity. Great place to get away from it all, no wifi, tv etc.... More

What an amazing trip! A massive `thank you` to Colin Evans for a fantastic crossing, a real larger than life character and great fun. Made my wife`s day as he carried her to the shore! When visiting North Wales this is one of the `must do` trips of the holiday. The island is quite amazing, no running water or electricity,... More

Un o'r llefydd mwyaf hudolus a phrydferth 'dwi wedi bod erioed. Cymaint o hanes yn berthyn i'r lle ac yn destun i gymaint o'n cerddi mwyaf adnabyddus. Argymell i unrhyw un wneud yr orymdaith draw at Enlli o leiaf unwaith yn eich bywydau... What a beautiful place. As someone who has been brought up in north Wales, I unfortunately had... More

A really memorable trip. Colin the boatman was brilliant - really informative about flora and fauna - trip is approx 20 minutes each way and departs from beautiful Porth Meudwy. On the island would recommend climbing to the top of Mynydd Enlli for a breathtaking view of the peninsula, Anglesey and Snowdonia. We will certainly return

Our second trip to Ynys Enlli (Bardsey) and not our last. The Island is a little bit of paradise off the Llyn Peninsula, for a totally relaxing break away from mobile phones and social media, the holiday homes have all that you need even though there is no electricity and the toilets are of the composting variety :) Amazing sunsets,... Bardsey Island has a life of its own. When you visit, it takes you over with feelings of peacefulness and joy. The air is fresh and clean and people are delightful. You are surrounded by nature and scenic beauty (and history and legends). The greatest time in my life was spent on Bardsey Island. Memories have stayed inside me and... More

We have been coming to North Wales for decades and yet have only just discovered the wonderful escape that is Bardsey Island. Make sure you book a boat via Colin Evans who is a great guy and really takes trouble to make the boat crossing interesting & informative. He texts you the directions and you can start trip near Aberdaron... More

We visited Ynys Enlli (which I could not find the welsh name on trip advisor) disappointing! Colin the captain of the boat was a real character and most Importantly, he spoke welsh, our native language. What a wonderful day trip, on the nicest day of the year, we walked round the island and visited the old school and chapel, it... More
