NT property

Fascinating old National Trust property which is mostly given over to a shop so admission is free. Plenty to see and buy.

We visited on 22nd March and my friend who is not a member was asked to pay £4.50 to look at what was 4 rooms. The staff did answer our questions but we did not think it value for money.

Another historic building not to be missed, The National Trust volunteers were so knowledgeable and encourage questions.

This attraction is great to visit. Very informative and interesting. The only national trust property I know of which is free. Worth visiting if in Conwy.

A medieval merchant's house situated at the junction of Castle Street and High Street. No parking or toilets but a large and well stocked shop and there's plenty of eating places and pubs nearby. The house dates from the 14th, it's furnished and has the usual information boards and audio/visual exhibits depicting life in the house. Some uneven floors to... More

One of the oldest houses in Wales, this gives a view of the lifestyle of people in Conwy from centuries past. Well worth the entrance fee

Beautiful old property, maintained by the NT. Any information required about the place is provided by the staff member there who will answer all questions. We spent 30 minutes looking at the 5 rooms and asking about their content.

The chap in the toll house at the bridge encouraged us to come here, It's a really old merchant house, wattle and daub, a very historic building.
