You can walk around the walls at Conwy castle and climb to the top of various towers for a wonderful 360 degree view of the surrounding area. This is a great place to visit on a fine, clear day. Not a place if it is...More

We visited 4 castles in Wales - Conwy, Beaumaris, Caernarfon and Chepstow. The sight of Conwy Castle is impressive as we approach on our drive from Liverpool. There is a public carpark right at the entrance to the ticket office. Past the ticket office, walking...More

Thoroughly enjoyed exploring this medieval castle. Stunning vistas of the Irish Sea from the towers. We walked along the city wall which we loved. Not for the unsure of foot...steep stairs and uneven pathways.

Well worth a visit. This castle is in remarkably good condition, you can climb most if not all of the towers. Very interesting and informative. Climb at least one tower - the views are stunning.

Our six year old daughter loved the castle. Amazing views from the turrets and the info boards helped to provide interesting historical details.

This is my kids favourite castle! We have visited her numerous times, even better value as Cadw members, but it never fails to excite my two. They love exploring each area in meticulous detail, climbing to the top of each tower or simply gazing at...More

The museum, shop & the grounds are fun you can also go round the ground floor but the ramparts most defiantly not as it would be impossible to do this

I'm guessing it wouldn't be suitable for a pram but would it be suitable to take a baby in a baby carrier?

A baby in a carrier should be OK. Some of the stairs/passageways can be a bit of a squeeze so some care is needed. Also by baby carrier I suspect you mean one fixed in-front of the body rather than "as a backpack". If... More
