Spent few hours here exploring the grounds, lots of nooks an crannies to find and walks by the river. The house is wonderful, with elaborately carved oak panels, walls and stair case, lovely food served at the little café, well worth a visit.

The house and grounds make an excellent visit - as well as the remarkable story behind Plas Newydd. The wood carving is very special indeed.

A nice old house with an interesting history that is worth visiting if you have some spare time, but not sure I'd make a special trip. Lovely gardens and views.

The house is charming, especially the study left as it was. The Whistler painting is also a real highlight. There is in fact not much to see beyond that and on a good day the gardens and amazing views are rather better than the house...More
