Llandollen is a very touristy town geared up with plenty of places to eat and drink and many shops. The main attraction is the river and the bridge over it is the best place to stand and admire it. It is stunning. If you are lucky you might see rafting on the river. There is a huge car park just out of town but the walk back in is along the canal path and if you are lucky you might see the horse drawn tourist boats being pulled along. You can visit the horses too. Well worth a visit.

Scenic little Welsh town over the River Dee. Cafes, walks, souvenirs, ice cream, sweet treats. Above the town is the canal walk with boat rides. Charming.

Great views of the River Dee from the bridge. lots of photogenic views from town centre looking towards station and beyond. An interesting mix of mini rapids weaving their way down river. Viewing recesses on bridge allow you to avoid obstructing other pedestrians while taking photos and enjoying the view.

At certain times of the year definitely not as the river is v fast running especially at the moment with the storms.
However cafes nearby where you can sit and watch the world go by.
