Whilst the cabin was clean and comfortable, and reasonably priced at 85€, the rest of the 19 and a half hour crossing was pretty poor. Basically, there was nothing showing in the cinema that appealed to me, and the food in the restaurant was easily the worst ferry-food I have ever eaten. Need to find an alternative route or carrier... More

Very suprised by how cheap it was to travel as a foot passenger however slightly stung at other end getting bus into dublin..lots of waiting around to be picked up..my advice is to go by bus and get taxi back at your own lesiure. The ferry's had great amenities..free film..3 and quarter hours..need to keep yourself entertained..very smooth crossing as... More

Was not expecting much from the cabin rooms but was happy with the cleanliness and size. The kids manage to get a few hours sleep before we reached... More

We used this service from Holy Head to Dublin for the first time in Sept 2016 and we were pleasantly surprised. The food on board was of good quality especially The breakfast on the return trip, it was far better quality than some of the motorway services. However the Sirloin Steak my wife had on the outward crossing was not... More

Our cabin between Oslo and Fredrikshavn did not have the same standard as last time on this voyage. The airconditioning made noices all night, the shower was old and did not work particularly well when I had a shower in the morning, and the duvee cover was torn. On the return some days later the cabin was quite all right,... More

The station at Holyhead was clean and spacious and the trip over to Ireland very comfortable, clean and had good food and drink service. Disembarking was clumsy but otherwise, a great trip!

Took advantage of booking more than 2 days in advance of sailing on a Tuesday and the ferry cost £5.50 as a foot passenger. £7 for parking and bus transfer at Holyhead port. Plenty of space on the ferry.

I had booked this as a foot passenger through the Stena St.Patrick's Day promotion, £1 each way per person-best £2 I've ever spent! Easy parking at Holyhead where you are then transferred to the terminal by bus. Straight through to departure lounge where another bus takes you on the vessel. Step to the lift to large spacious lounges for a... More

I must state that I worked for Stena Line prior to retirement, however this crossing from Cairnryan Port to Belfast was made as an Ulsterbus Coach Tour passenger. On the way out we had crossed with P&O from Larne to Cairnryan and also from Hull to Rotterdam and Back,so this gave me a very good opportunity to compare the two companies,and... More
