This is an interesting place to visit. You get a feeling for how it was to work in the mine over a hundred years ago. Once you’ve been underground enjoy the stunning scenery.

Had a long journey, well signposted to the mine, good size car park. Decided to have a coffee before heading down the mine, greeted by a lovely lady who turned out to be the owner. Not much food to be had, but she explained that...More

Loved it here! I’d visit again!! Scary climbing the stairs though as I don’t like heights but everything was worth it. Really educational and a great museum/shop on site too! Nice views when exiting the mines also! Would highly recommend

Very nice long long climb up steps to the top very interesting, informative. Automatically push button tour can go at own pace. When you reach the top and come out Stoney path to walk down.

You get your hard hat then walk off into the mines, see where and how they did their job back in the day, and climb some steps. When you exit you get some stunning views of the mountains!
