We've visited techniquest many times, it's really good interactive science made fun. The exhibits haven't changed much over the last 5 years, they do mix it up a bit but it's never vastly different, this obviously isn't an issue though if you've never been. The things that do change are the shows, they have a 360 degree planetarium where they... More

We visited in February this year during half term so we knew it would be busy. We arrived there around 11am and it was already very busy. When we got in It was chaos. The building itself is not exceptionally big even though there are 2 floors. You can't get near anything to look at it its just a lot... More

We've been bringing our son to techniquest somce he was 1, he is now 5 and we have annual passes. We love techniquest and my son is really keen on science which I'm sure has stemmed from his frequent visits. The shows included in the price are brilliant as is the planetarium. My sons favourite is the new exhibit with... More

Visited on a wet Half Term Tuesday, BIG queues (20 minutes?) outside but staff were efficient. £22.50 for five of us was ok for what was on offer, we didn't pay the extra £1.50 each for shows which I thought was expensive on top. It was busy but enough space and we all got our own turn on the displays.... More

Plenty of interesting and fun attractions, even on busy days. Well worth the money, especially as it is a charity and therefore does not make a profit. Nice little café. Excellent show 'Fire and Ice', brilliant presenters - Tony and Jessie. Anwen thoroughly enjoyed herself and didn't want to leave, however after 4 hours I was exhausted! :) Anwen said... More

I went to Techniquest today with my 9 year old son (after we had been to the Doctor Who Experience). We wanted to make the most of our time in the bay before heading back to town. When we arrived at around 12.40 the queue was out the door. The price was ok but unfortunately I don't feel like we... More

Easy to get to. Easy to park. Price to get in is very reasonable - we were there for 4 hours and could have stayed longer. You can also leave and come back later as they give out wristbands to allow for this. There are no 'extras' once you've paid to get in (apart from the gift shop!) and you... More

Went with family and little one enjoyed but lots of the exhibits don't seem to have changed in a long time also quite a few not working or not maintained. Ticket prices for adults very expensive.

Would not hesitate in commending this place. My son thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon here, so much so that he wants to ask his school to arrange a trip here.

We visited on a random Tuesday hoping it would be reasonably quiet so our 2 year old could have a good look around. Unfortunately for us there were at least 4 school groups there and it was chaos. Exhibits were really good, and all but one was working which shows they do really care about the quality of the museum.... More
