I have visited many open-air museums of traditional buildings and way of life around Europe, and this was the worst experience I have had. The museum itself was not the primary problem - there are many interesting buildings to see - but the whole place...More

This venue has something for all ages. An excellent museum with helpful and friendly guides. Free entry and plenty of car spaces. Bring a picnic or eat in one of the cafes. It's worth more than one visit.

A recreation of local social history, so well done that you would think you were actually a part of it. A real antidote to our addiction too virtual reality.

We weren't sure what to expect from St Fagans, but we were pleasantly surprised. There is plenty to do and see and for a free museum (although there is a five pound parking charge) it was amazing. Would recommend.

We only visited for a few hours to see what it was all about as we have just moved to Cardiff from Somerset. There is plenty to see and do (not that we got around all of it). Will definitely be going back.

An amazing place to visit with so much to see and all free. It is constantly changing and has a number of activities periodically. Go again and again.

Hi Eirwen, dogs are allowed but must be kept on the lead. They aren't allowed in the historic buildings.
