Nice place to sit and eat lunch but it isn't particularly big. Nice for a quiet walk but isn't going to be that long.

We visited here one Sunday as part of a walk that included nearby Bute Park and City Hall. The relatively small park is well-cared for and was especially beautiful with spring blossom and tulips during our visit. Several interesting memorials including to those who died...More

A great visit; Spring is flower time and we loved this place with the blossoming cherry trees and lovely flowers.

Often come here at lunchtime. Peaceful and beautiful in spring. Lovely if you fancy a break from the city. Lots of seats too!

This is a lovely walk, showing a monument dedicated to Army, Navy and Air Force, holding up wreaths. The park is well kept, and still close to the town centre.

Considering how central it is, and how often I venture into the city, I have very rarely visited this lovely little park and war memorial. I usually visit once a year, as I did yesterday for the Remembrance Service which is always very moving. Previously...More

If I ever get back to Cardiff, Cathays Park will be one of the items at the top of my agenda. We were around and about it on several occasions during our recent visit to that city, just enough to whet our desire to see...More
