I can remember the old bay here and can appreciate how much effort has gone in to developing a new, modern Marina, with a reasonable number of restaurants and shops. There are sometimes special functions held here, like charity runs. Ncve place top stroll around and people watch.

It's been many years since we last visited the marina. Lovely walks, museum, swimming pool, restaurant. Lots of boats, sailing vessels and old ships, to see. Good place to stay if visiting Swansea. Mike

Trust me, the first thing people say when I told them I moved to Swansea from Bristol, is ''Swansea?! Why SWANSEA?!'' Apart from the fact that it is where my partner is from, it is so nice to have a beautiful beach literally 15/20 mins drive from the house. It's a lovely place to be in the summer, Three Cliffs... There are some decent cafés and the deli next to the Meridien Tower does a ymmy fish n chips, but has a food choice of... More
