try and sit upstairs on the bus and try and do this twice so you can sit on each side of the bus each time you go round. There is still very much a presence of the troubles but its not forced down your throats...More

I saw this stop via the red hop on hop off bus. There is live narration on the bus and they pause so that you may take pictures. Do the red hop on hop off bus for this sight.

So used to hearing of the Falls Road on the news and it was very interesting actually seeing it. The murals around Belfast are very sobering and not a little troubling.

Quiet now ,but i remember the marches on telly down this narrow stretch of hard fought territory . The murals alone are worth the walk.

I brought my 18 yr old son to show him how far Belfast has come from when I was his age and this experience was a bit overpowering. The history is real and I am glad we visited. The walls and gates are still there...More

I was a tad worried about coming here as I am old enough to remember the troubles being live news every night and I thought my English accent would mean I wouldn't be welcome. I couldn't have been more wrong. Everybody was really friendly especially...More

I grew up in NW England in the 60s and the 'troubles' would always feature in the news. Crumlin, Shanklin, Bog side, Falls road etc just fantastic to finally walk the streets that were the background to my family and see with my own eyes...More

My goodness, so many murals to look at, all with a story to tell. Our Guides were so knowledgable and we learnt such a lot we hadn't known about life before and after "The Troubles"

I got one of the city sightseeing buses - £10 and you can hop on and off for 72 hours. It's not that far to walk from city centre either.
