Visited this place on a Saturday night and it so lively, everyone stood out in the street chatting & drinking creates a brilliant vibe. Live music upstairs in on of the bars & the original decor is a great feel. If you're looking for a...More

Had a great time at the Duke, friendly staff, nice location, not too many tourists. We stayed here for hours drinking pints and chatting to locals on saturday night. Came back the next day after breakfast just because it was so much fun.

Just been into this bar about 20 people in 10 at bar and all these 2 bar staff do is serve from the section in front of them never looking left or right. Please avoid to not get annoyed.

This is just an amazing real pub! Since you step in you will breathe a real Irish atmosphere. Plus they have a really nice beers and whiskey! The only thing I can say "negative" is that it's table served but that's super ok for a...More

Like the Crown this pub is amazing inside and outside Set in a narrow alley with picturesque flower baskets. Inside it has a long bar with mirrors and lots of historic artefacts. An excellent range of craft beers. Not to be missed.

Visited recently on a Sunday pub crawl. Great pub. There was a great Irish band playing which provided a great atmosphere. Decent drinks selection and nice bar staff. Great part of town and I definitely recommend visiting.

This place is worth seeking out. On a family trip some of the family wanted traditional Irish music and we started off in a bigger nearby pub. The first was too busy and loud for me. I found this place and spent a lovely couple...More

The Duke of York is an interesting place. Whiskey selection is rather decent, great beer and a fun atmosphere. No food though, just drinks, crisps and a fun time before you go for dinner or go home after work.

Well what can I say what an amazing pub to visit in Belfast. Plenty of atmosphere with workers calling in after work. Good variety of ales. A must to visit if in the area.

Came across this amazing pub in Belfast quite by chance. Our part of seven really enjoyed the banter. Fantastic mirrors and posters etc took us back in time. Highly recommended!!

I'd be surprised if you have any trouble. You may find the odd bar that's a bit funny but you probably won't want to call in there if they are. The students are in town for freshers week at the moment and you won't hold a... More
