From the street, St Malachy's looks more like a fortress than a church, with its austere exterior of Belfast red bricks. Once inside, it is another world. Firstly, it is highly decorative and truly beautiful, with the highlight (quite literally) being the stunning fan-vaulted ceiling....More

Friendly people here who take a real interest in visitors. Man insisted on introducing us to the priest. The church is beautiful. We heard the wonderful bells from ourhotel across the street.

Beautiful church and well worth the visit. The exterior is good but the interior is simply incredible. Whether a 'church' person or not, well worth the visit for some contemplation or just to take in the historic construction. Enjoy !

Beautiful church which is very modern, lots of colour and beauty within. Contains a huge amount of art work and history, great stop even if not Christian to stop and admire the work, close to city centre , 2 mins walk from city hall

Open to the public with no cost, this beautiful building has such a solemn and serene feeling from the minute you enter. The interior is absolutely stunning and welcoming. As they don't charge entry, I gave a donation towards the upkeep. Warming & welcoming.
