If you’re travelling to Belfast with a toddler, this place is ideal to win him/her round. 4-5 floors full of fun games, activities, climbing, educational stuff and I think with a very fair price.

The best place for families, it is both fun and education and is suitable for all ages (1-100), small kids play areas and lots of educational stuff based on physics, history, geography, etc). It has so many areas of interest, that nobody will be left...More

We were at the W5 on the weekend of the 16th & 17th September and it was recommended as somewhere good to eat, however only about 3 eateries open (pizza Hut being one). Would have been better if more of the resturants were openMore

We have the annual pass which we've had for 3 years. I probably won't renew. Whilst they've put in the space bit for kids (which is overcrowded and expensive) the exhibits haven't been updated in years. I am now at the stage where the kids...More

Dear Foodiestevie89, Thank you for your feedback. We are currently working on a refurbishment programme so we are sad to hear that you feel that our exhibits are outdated. For example, we have recently renovated our ground floor and introduced ‘Robothespian’ – our life sized...More

We drove up from Dublin and spent two hours there Thursday afternoon and another two hours Friday morning. An earlier reviewer referred to the entry fee and I'd have to agree, slightly expensive for adults, also no option of a two-day ticket or weekend ticket,...More

The W5 is a science center with some ideas that are nice, but a number of them are very limited with respect to the required creativity - they simply ask you to do (or think) right - there are several institutions in Europe that are...More

I would say the optimal age for W5 is from 4 upwards, however still lots for an 18 month old to enjoy (but you will need to be hands-on and helping them). The layout of the floors is excellent, plenty of room to run... More

Both are good but I would say spend most of your day at W5 it's more fun for kids than the Titanic exhibit. It also might be a bit much to do both in the same day, they are both big places to get round.
