Fabulous

The park is close to the centre of Belfast with free parking. We did a 10k walk. There is a path most of the way round. It's not very hilly. The views from the top are stunning.

This is an excellent walk, there are at least 3 trails. The carpark is brilliant and always busy so it should be safe enough. You turn of the hannastown road. There is a cafe that opens during the day. The summit trail will challenge you but worth the view its all on tarmac, the heath trail is long and on... More

Used to be the domain of the British Army and you can see why. Lacks interpretation points but cafe is good. Longer than you think. Very popular. Parking limited

The views are breathtaking and there are a choice of walks, but if going to the summit, beware it is a long trek. Good sturdy footwear is a necessity and I was glad of the bottles of water and snacks we took along with us, although there is a quaint cafe. Check the weather before going, as we got caught... Stunning views of Belfast and beyond, Great for exercising or just a casual stroll to take in the views, on a good day you can see as far as Newcastle and even Scotland.
