We visited the Tollymore Forest Park. Did the River trail which was beautiful. Cost to enter is 5 pounds per car and there is plenty of parking.

A great place to enjoy a dry day! Lots of walk to choose from. There is a beautiful river and a playground for the little ones. There is also places to have a picnic or a bbq. It is a must go place when nearby.

So magical! Such a nice amenity to have only a half an hours drive away! We go here regularly with the dogs and our young child and previously with the horses. Such a nice place with so much to explore.

The river trail is about 3 miles long on a mild gradient - but is a quit a drop at the start and a tiring uphill walk back to the car park on your return. Lots of nice points along the river to pause for a moment in the... More
