This is a great shout for a day out if you like a walk. Clearly signposted gravelled paths can take you on any length of circuit from 5k to 12k through varied habitats, woodland to riverside to hillside. We really enjoyed our day. Just know that there is a charge for parking.

Cycled round here while staying down the road at the Sieve Donard hotel. I recall there were carvings made out of some of the fallen trees, wether they're still there Im not sure.

Great caravan park with beautiful walks and close to lots of attractions and things to do. Children loved the freedom and park was safe. Facilities are grand

Great place for a leisurely stroll, or for the serious hiker. Great view of the Mourne Mountains. And certainly the dry day activity.

Setting, scenery and camping facilities are all excellent. Great place to get away from the hussle and bussle. Lovely parkland and forest walks, and up into the hills for those who wish to venture further. Even in rainy weather Tollymore is still beautiful.

We visited with the Game of Thrones tour which was spectacular. The park is rich with amazing history and spectacular sites. There is a little food truck that sells coffee, tea, cold drinks and snacks when you go into the park. Prices were very reasonable coffee, tea and chocolate bar was approx 3.50. Pace yourself and enjoy this amazing park.

Fantastic place, what more can you add?! Hasn't changed too much since childhood days spent here. (too many years ago!). Although very popular it's still easy to find peace and quiet, and the trails aren't over manicured. Tollymore manages to provide a range of walks and activity opportunities for everyone, from young to old, energetic to less mobile. Love it... More

My boyfriend was very unhappy at the amount of trees that had been chopped down since his last visit. Although the forest walks are still beautiful, the felled trees spoilt this somewhat.

This is one of my favourite places back home. You have lovely walks in the park ranging from the small to big and suitable for everyone. You have lovely forest to walk through and lovely wee bridges and nice rivers. This is a must if your in the area to have a nice walk in the nature of Northern Ireland!!

We went for the full 8k walk and it is fairly up and down hills but the scenery is worth it. The mourns are stunning. Note that you can have three seasons in one day so be prepared. We had sun rain and hail stones

My family and I are considering heading to Tollymore Caravan Forest Park but we had read some concerning reviews about the caravan park in Tollymore so that made us apprehensive.

“The park have absolutely no control of what goes on here after hours.” - Reviewed 28 May 2011

“The group who were camping beside us then started to rev their cars move them back and forth and they were threatening to burn people out of their tents.” - Reviewed 28 May 2011

“Peace lasted until around 4.30am. Thats when they started joyriding.” - Reviewed 28 May 2011

“Problem is security do nothing.” - Reviewed 28 May 2011

“ then the gentlemen proceeded to beat his partner and then smash their windows of their people carrier , after police were called” Reviewed 18 April 2011

“we were kept awake by insanely loud music and discussions of a very inappropriate nature for a so-called family campsite. Parents of another family asked if they would turn the music down to which they received appalling verbal abuse.

Around 1:30 the entire site was awoken by a couple in the middle of an argument, this quickly escalated into the boyfriend breaking the driver side front window, the windscreen followed by dragging his girlfriend along the campsite on her back” - Reviewed 17 April 2011

So, can you tell me if security still lets this type of thing happen please?

Also, can families (youngest is 10 years old so well able to cycle) cycling in the forest and are there many routes we can use (as a family)?
